The daughter of two professors, Elizabeth Kailath, MD grew up in a family that placed immense importance on the pursuit of knowledge for the betterment of society. As a result she enjoys learning and teaching others to this day. Her degrees include:

Leadership
Elizabeth Kailath, MD served as Mercy San Juan's Vice Chair of Infection Control, Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee for 20 years. In early 2014 she was promoted to committee’s Chair.
In 2003 her practice was one in six hundred centers chosen to participate in pilot program to promote the adoption and usage of electronic medical records across the nation. Since the conclusion of the pilot in 2011 she has continued to successfully utilize electronic medical records which has earned her a prestigious certification from Medicare.
Volunteer Work
Always looking to support the local medical community, Elizabeth Kailath, MD has acted as a mentor to 2nd year medical students from UC Davis for over 15 years. She has given guest lectures at Mercy San Juan hospital as well as skilled and assisted living facilities. She continues to offer her expertise to the Medical Board of CA and local medical insurance boards.
